Next to your provider's TV package
Your provider's TV box keeps working as before. Thabit runs in a separate app on your Smart TV, a Fire TV Stick or a phone, so you switch between Dutch and Arabic channels without cancelling anything.
Fibre and cable
Fibre (glasvezel) and cable connections in the Netherlands are usually far faster than HD needs. When the picture stutters, the cause is almost always the Wi-Fi between the router and the TV, not the connection itself: a network cable or a 5 GHz network fixes it.
Moving house
If you move to a new address, your subscription moves with you. As soon as the new home has internet, log in with the same details. Until the fixed connection is installed, your phone's mobile data can bridge the gap, within the limits of your data plan.
Paying from the Netherlands
After you order, we send card or PayPal details on WhatsApp, and the amount in US dollars is converted to euros when you pay. If you normally pay only with iDEAL, ask us on WhatsApp which options are available to you.

01Does Thabit work in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague?
Yes. It works anywhere in the Netherlands with an internet connection, from the big cities to the smallest towns.
02Do I have to cancel my provider's TV package?
No. Thabit runs separately in its own app, so your provider's TV package and box keep working as they are.
03Can I pay with iDEAL?
Payment is by card or PayPal, arranged on WhatsApp after you order. If iDEAL is the only method you use, ask us on WhatsApp which options are available.
04What happens to my subscription if I move house?
Nothing changes. Log in with the same details at your new address as soon as it has internet.
05Do I need a satellite dish?
No. Thabit runs over your internet connection, with no dish and no extra box from your provider.
