Arabic IPTV in Germany, on the internet you already have
Thabit brings live Arabic channels, matches, movies and series to homes in Germany over an ordinary DSL, cable or fibre connection. You don't need a dish on the façade or your landlord's permission: an app on your Smart TV, Fire TV Stick or phone is enough, and help on WhatsApp is in Arabic.

A dish on the façade is often not allowed
In many German rental buildings the house rules don't allow a satellite dish on the balcony or the façade, and the building's own cable or satellite connection carries mostly German channels. Thabit avoids the question altogether: it runs over the internet connection inside your flat.
The broadcasting fee stays separate
Every household in Germany pays the broadcasting fee (Rundfunkbeitrag), whether it watches German TV or not. A Thabit subscription doesn't replace it and doesn't change it: the two are completely separate.
DSL, cable or fibre
Any common German connection works. A 16 Mbit/s DSL line is enough for HD on one screen, and with 50 Mbit/s or more there's room for everyone else at home. If the router sits in the hallway and the TV in the living room, a network cable or a Wi-Fi repeater makes the biggest difference.

CH 08QUESTIONS
Common questions in Germany
01Does Thabit work in Berlin, Hamburg and North Rhine-Westphalia?
Yes. It works anywhere in Germany with a home internet connection, in big cities and small towns alike.
02Do I still have to pay the broadcasting fee (Rundfunkbeitrag)?
The broadcasting fee is a legal charge on every household in Germany and has nothing to do with Thabit. Your Thabit subscription neither replaces it nor adds to it.
03My landlord doesn't allow a satellite dish. Can I still watch Arabic channels?
Yes. Thabit needs no dish or antenna, only your internet connection and an app on your TV, stick or phone.
04Can I pay in euros from Germany?
Prices are in US dollars. When you pay by card or PayPal, the amount is converted to euros automatically.
05Which device works best in Germany?
If your Smart TV is recent, the app usually runs on it directly. Otherwise a Fire TV Stick, sold in most electronics shops in Germany, is the simplest option.
