Set up Thabit on a Smart TV
About 10 minutes
Setting up Thabit on a Smart TV takes about ten minutes. You install an IPTV player app from your TV's app store, enter the login details we send on WhatsApp, and the channels load. If your TV's store doesn't have the app, a Fire TV Stick or an Android box does the same job.
Steps

Check that the TV is online
Open your TV's network settings and confirm it's connected. A network cable gives the steadiest picture; if you use Wi-Fi, pick the 5 GHz network if your router has one.

Ask us which app to install
TV brands have different app stores, so we tell you on WhatsApp which IPTV player works best on your model. Send us the brand and model of your TV: it's usually on a sticker on the back.

Install the app from the TV's store
Open the app store on your TV (on most Samsung TVs it's called Apps, on LG it's the LG Content Store), search for the app name we sent, and install it.

Enter your login
Open the app and choose to log in with your account. Type the server address, username and password exactly as we sent them: capital and small letters matter.
Some apps show a device code (often called a MAC address) on screen instead. Send us a photo of that screen and we activate it for you.

Let the channels load
The first load can take a minute or two while the channel list and the programme guide download. After that, the app opens straight to your channels.

If something doesn't work
01The app isn't in my TV's store
Older Smart TVs have limited app stores. Plug a Fire TV Stick or an Android box into the HDMI port and follow the Fire TV Stick guide instead.
02The app says my login is wrong
Check capital and small letters, and make sure there's no space at the end. If it still fails, send us a photo of the screen on WhatsApp.
03The picture stops during matches
Switch to a cable or 5 GHz Wi-Fi and restart the router. Our article on why IPTV freezes goes through the fixes in order.
